This policy explains what happens to data when you visit kmoang.com. It is written to be read, not to be survived.

The short version

We do not ask you for anything. There are no accounts, no comment system, no newsletter, and no forms. We do not run our own analytics. The data that does get collected comes from our hosting provider and, once advertising is enabled, from Google's advertising systems.

What we collect directly

Nothing. This is a static website. We have no database and no way to identify you. If you choose to email us, we receive whatever you put in that email — your address and your message — and we keep it only as long as we need to deal with what you wrote about.

Hosting and server logs

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages and delivered through Cloudflare's network. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical information required to deliver the page and to protect the site from attack — including your IP address, browser user agent, the page you requested, and the time of the request. We use this only in aggregate to keep the site running and secure. Cloudflare's handling of this data is governed byCloudflare's privacy policy.

Advertising and cookies

This site is funded by advertising served through Google AdSense. Ad serving is currently being set up; the section below describes how it works once ads are live.

Google and its partner vendors use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads. Depending on your consent choices and your location, these may be used to show you personalized ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites, or to show non-personalized ads and measure their performance. You choose there whether to allow personalized advertising. You can reopen that notice and change your choice at any time using the consent link shown with the notice, and declining personalized ads does not restrict any part of this site.

Some articles contain affiliate links. If you follow one and buy something, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. Following such a link means the retailer may set its own cookies to attribute the sale, under that retailer's privacy policy. Analytics

We do not currently run any analytics product on this site — no Google Analytics, no third-party tracking scripts of our own. If that changes, this policy will be updated before the change goes live.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data relating to you, to object to processing, or to withdraw consent. Because we hold no personal data of our own beyond emails you send us, most requests are best directed to the companies named above. For anything we can act on, email[email protected] and say that it is a privacy request.

Children

This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

When this policy changes we update the date at the top. Material changes — a new analytics provider, a new advertising partner — will be described rather than slipped in.
